I did not know that there nestled within a worm in the innocent note sent by Usha M. It did though, a true one, a tag worm! It bit me good and proper ouch! and once bitten you have no option but play the Bookworm Tag.

The rules as stated:

Pick up the nearest book.
Open to page 123.
Find the fifth sentence.
Post the next three sentences.
Tag seven people (seven??) and acknowledge the person who tagged you.

Add the rules.

Now comes the actual work. I close my eyes and pick up one from among the many books on my table. I open my eyes expectantly and with trepidation. Which one is it?? Usha is going to be mighty miffed if it is one about good old Trivandrum or so she says. I sigh in relief. It is ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ not one on the capital city of God’s Own Land. Pretty useful book I must say this one is to me considering that I plan to do just that, hitchhike my way through the Galaxy in the near future, now that I am oh so bored keeping house for the three Martians. So I am happy to dip into the book again today. I can always come up with more tips on what to do and what not to on that hike I am gonna take soon, sooner than you think!!

Page 123 here I come!! By the way, why 123?? Why not 122?? Why not 124?? Hmmm… I wonder how these high level decisions are arrived at. Having never worked outside my home I speculate about it all the time. Is there a board room conference?? Are lots of numbers thrown back and forth with the advantages and disadvantages of each being threshed out?? Or does the Boss Man decide on a number on his own?? Like how I, the Boss Woman at home, do?? I shall make fish and sambar today and that’s that. No opposition or suggestions entertained! Is it in that same vein that this number 123 was arrived at?? Hmmm…

Err… I had forgotten that someone was waiting. I am sorry Usha. I know you are eagerly, impatiently and with childish anticipation waiting for those three sentences from the fifth one on page 123 and what do I do?? Go hither thither and everywhere like a rambling brook!!
Here it is those all important three sentences for you:

“However no one knew quite why it did this because it invariably delivered a cupful of liquid that was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea. The Nutri-Matic was designed and manufactured by the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation whose complaints department now covers all the major landmasses of the first three planets in the Sirius Tau Star System.

Arthur drank the liquid and found it reviving.”

Quite intriguing stuff, huh??
