dear shail.. This was hilarious..
Takes me to the days of whirly and all that...
The death of the microwave  or lizard depending on whose  side you are in.....
and the map reading ability of  your lord and master....
of course trivandrum has gnererally two roads one leading to Nagercoil and the other to
quilon and i can quite understand the ability of your hubby to get lost in this multplicity of roads.(LOL)..i hope your hubby is not listening .. may be i am over simplifying the roads but you just ask one of them whom you find on the roads and they give you the direction(you follow just the opposite of what he says and you are on the right path ... refer to genral psychology of dirction giver on kerala roads ....an unpublshed thesis by d sampath )...however i have to appreciate the enterpreneurial and the pioneering spirit of your husband to rediscover the wheel. yes i do agree with him. it is a great fun  to rediscover wheels.
lovely.....

Sudha: Right on!! Hehe... Sit back and enjoy the view and ride it is... so long as your bones are not being rattled winding your way through potholes!! Thanks for the reco.

Promilla: Glad you enjoyed it. You know when he is driving all I have to do is grin and bear it. The worst is when I am driving and he gives me directions, then asks me to stop after an intersection and then makes me go back!! I get out and sit on the passenger side!!

Jaijui: Hehe... I'll probably have to prod him into reading it, though he knows the deed is done!! I have already warned him that I am going to make a compilation book about just my Martians. So there!! 'Do whatever pleases you' says he!!

Shobana: Yeah L & M has no time to read blogs! He is frequently updated on the contents though. And what is more, my threat at home with all Martians is, 'I will blog about it!!'
